Sinekatalog’s take
Aparna Sen's drama follows a mute girl, considered cursed, who is married to a tree in a village ritual. Shabana Azmi is strong in a stylised, angry and visually vivid film about superstition and women's lives.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
