Sinekatalog’s take

Jean-Pierre Melville's gangster film follows an escaped convict drawn into one last heist. Lino Ventura is magnetic, and the film's cool control and code-of-honour fatalism make a tough, elegant crime drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
