Sinekatalog’s take
Werner Herzog's debut follows a wounded German soldier guarding a Greek island fort who slowly loses his mind. Hypnotic and strange, with a famous windmill scene, it is a haunting first film about isolation and madness.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
