Sinekatalog’s take
Sergei Eisenstein's first feature depicts a factory strike in Tsarist Russia with bold montage. Its rhythmic editing and intercut slaughterhouse climax made it a landmark of revolutionary filmmaking.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
