Plot
A tale of a Russian officer's romance.
Sinekatalog’s take
Nikita Mikhalkov's romantic drama adapts a Bunin story and a Russian officer's brief passion, framed by the Civil War. Handsome and sumptuous, with Oleg Menshikov, but sprawling and uneven, it disappointed critics.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
