Sinekatalog’s take
Bob Fosse's directorial debut stars Shirley MacLaine as an eternally hopeful dance-hall hostess. Brassy, bright and inventive with Cy Coleman's songs, it is a dazzling musical whose melancholy edge anticipates Fosse's later work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
