A Black Wave drama of the Second World War period, which won the CIDALC award at Venice.
Sinekatalog’s take
Živojin Pavlović's Black Wave drama follows a young man in postwar Yugoslavia whose ideals are crushed by corrupt compromise. Harsh and stylised, it won a CIDALC award at Venice and is a bleak classic of the movement.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
