Sinekatalog’s take
Eric Rohmer's first Comedies and Proverbs film follows a young man spying on his girlfriend's older lover in Paris. Light, talky and gently suspenseful, it is a charming, playful study of jealousy and misreading.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
