Three Maupassant tales.
Sinekatalog’s take
Max Ophüls's trio of Maupassant tales glides from a masked ball to a brothel outing to a painter's love. Elegant, witty and gently sad, with Jean Gabin and Danielle Darrieux, it is a graceful, sparkling anthology.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
