Sinekatalog’s take

René Clair's colourful romantic comedy has a charming lieutenant seducing a woman on a bet, only to fall for her. Gérard Philipe and Michèle Morgan are lovely in a graceful, melancholy and elegantly designed film of a bygone era.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
