Sinekatalog’s take

René Clément's comedy-drama follows a Frenchman in London whose womanising ends in comeuppance. Gérard Philipe is perfect as a charming, selfish seducer in a witty, melancholic and pleasingly cynical film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
