A soldier on leave meets a woman in New York.
Sinekatalog’s take
Vincente Minnelli's wartime romance has a soldier on 48-hour leave falling for a New York girl. Sweet, unshowy and moving, with Judy Garland in a rare dramatic role, it is a tender love story with real-city atmosphere.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
