Sinekatalog’s take
Youssef Chahine's biblical-flavoured drama follows an ancient Egyptian farmer-scientist who wants to green the desert and meets the story of Joseph. Visually grand but controversial, it was banned in Egypt for a time.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
