A painter struggles when his mother is proposed as a saint.
Sinekatalog’s take
Marco Bellocchio's satire follows an atheist painter whose family wants his dead mother proclaimed a saint. Sergio Castellitto is superb in a dry, bitter, funny study of belief, hypocrisy and the weight of family.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
