A film about Africa shot in Congo.

Sinekatalog’s take

Glauber Rocha's essay-fantasia, shot in Congo, mixes colonial figures, myth and carnival in a furious allegory of Africa. Jean-Pierre Léaud appears in a wild, loud and fragmentary film that is intriguing but chaotic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
