Sinekatalog’s take
Ingmar Bergman's gothic comedy-drama pits a travelling mesmerist against a sceptical doctor. Max von Sydow is mysterious, and the film mixes mystery, farce and a rich reflection on illusion and truth.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
