Plot
A French mechanic in Nazi Germany.
Sinekatalog’s take
Volker Schlöndorff's adaptation of Tournier follows a simple French mechanic drawn into the Nazi world, increasingly seduced by its power. John Malkovich is haunting in a dense, dark, uneven fable of innocence and evil.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
