Sinekatalog’s take
Miklós Jancsó's stylised Civil War film glides through open plains in long takes as armies capture and kill. Cold, rhythmic and choreographed, it is a stark, formally striking meditation on war's futility.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
