Sinekatalog’s take
Mikhail Kalatozov's epic retells the 1928 Arctic airship Italia disaster and its rescue efforts, with Sean Connery as Amundsen. Grand and ambitious with a stellar cast, it is a long, moving if unwieldy adventure drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
