Sinekatalog’s take

Mikhail Kalatozov's Soviet-Cuban epic is a visual marvel of acrobatic long takes through streets and rooftops. Propagandistic but dizzyingly beautiful, it astonished a new generation when rediscovered.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
