Sinekatalog’s take
Ritwik Ghatak's early film follows a boy who runs away to Calcutta and finds a harsh city. Plain and tender, it shows Ghatak's feeling for displacement and his love of children's eyes.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
