Sinekatalog’s take

Fred Zinnemann's postwar drama has a GI helping a lost boy in ruined Germany. Montgomery Clift is touching in his debut, and the film's location shooting makes a moving humane drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
