An Austrian family's ordinary life leads to a collective suicide.

Sinekatalog’s take

Michael Haneke's debut is a cold, procedural account of an ordinary family's quiet breakdown, based on real events. Withholding and disturbing, it is a bleak study of numbness that is hard to watch but unforgettable.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
