Sinekatalog’s take

Zhang Yimou's drama follows a stubborn pregnant villager seeking justice for her husband through China's bureaucracy. Gong Li is superb in a naturalistic, hidden-camera-style film, with a gently ironic ending.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
