Sinekatalog’s take
Jia Zhangke's drama follows aimless young people in the coal town of Datong, drifting through boredom and small hopes. Zhao Tao features in a deadpan, sad and keenly observed portrait of China's lost generation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
