Plot
An adaptation of Kafka's novel, in which a bank clerk is arrested for a crime nobody will explain and is trapped in an absurd legal system.
Sinekatalog’s take
Orson Welles's Kafka adaptation is a nightmare of oversized sets, shadows and bureaucracy. Anthony Perkins is anxious and brilliant, and the film's visual invention feels dizzying and oppressive.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
