Two men spend winter in a mountain dam.
Sinekatalog’s take
Ermanno Olmi's early film follows two men spending a winter guarding a mountain dam, in a quiet study of solitude and friendship. Spare, human and beautifully shot, it is a gentle, assured debut feature.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
