Sinekatalog’s take

Ermanno Olmi's gentle fable follows a homeless Paris drunk who tries to repay a debt to a saint and never quite can. Rutger Hauer is moving in a quiet, luminous tale of grace and failure from Joseph Roth.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
