Plot
Tsotsi, a teenage gang leader in a Johannesburg township, violently steals a car and then finds a baby on the back seat. After some hesitation, he takes it home, and in caring for it begins to confront his own past and humanity. Gavin Hood's 2005 film, based on Athol Fugard's novel, with Presley Chweneyagae, won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
