Plot

A washed-up actor in Rome.

Sinekatalog’s take

Vincente Minnelli's melodrama sends a washed-up actor to Rome to help a director and confronts his past. Kirk Douglas is strong and the film is lurid and heated, a dark companion piece to The Bad and the Beautiful.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
