Sinekatalog’s take

Abel Gance's biopic portrays the composer's loves and deafness, with Harry Baur as Beethoven. Passionate and sincere, with Gance's visual energy, it is a heartfelt, melodramatic and sound-conscious tribute.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
