Sinekatalog’s take

Carl Theodor Dreyer's early sound horror is a dreamy, misty puzzle of a traveller in a haunted village. Its floating camera and eerie visuals make it a poetic, unsettling landmark.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
