Sinekatalog’s take
William Wyler's 1939 adaptation covers half of Brontë's novel with stormy romance and Gregg Toland's moody photography. Laurence Olivier's Heathcliff is passionate, and the film is a lush, tearful classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
