Sinekatalog’s take
Ousmane Sembène's satire follows a Senegalese businessman struck impotent on his third wedding night and tracing the curse to a beggar he wronged. Biting and funny, it is a classic of African cinema and a sharp attack on the new elite.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
