Plot
A traumatised war veteran and hired rescuer of missing girls takes a job to retrieve a senator's daughter, and it goes wrong.
Sinekatalog’s take
Lynne Ramsay's lean, hypnotic thriller is more about trauma than plot. Joaquin Phoenix is wounded and quiet, and the film's fragmentary editing and Jonny Greenwood score are intensely effective.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
