Sinekatalog’s take
Lucrecia Martel's hypnotic period piece follows a colonial officer waiting hopelessly for a transfer. Sound-rich, strange and darkly funny, with Daniel Giménez Cacho superb, it is a fever dream of empire's absurdity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
