Sinekatalog’s take
Bo Widerberg's drama follows a young man in a Swedish pulp-mill town caught up in a 1931 strike that ends with troops firing on marchers. Lyrical and political, it is a beautiful, humane film of labour and love.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
