Sinekatalog’s take

Elem Klimov's epic charts the last years of the Romanov court and the rise and murder of Rasputin. Alexei Petrenko is feral and hypnotic in a grotesque, visionary and richly staged history that was banned for a decade.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
