Sinekatalog’s take

Sergei Eisenstein's patriotic epic recreates the Battle on the Ice with spectacular editing and Prokofiev's score. Propagandistic but visually superb, it influenced battle scenes for decades.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
