Sinekatalog’s take
Roland Joffé's drama has Patrick Swayze's burnt-out American doctor finding purpose in a Calcutta slum. Earnest and well-meant, with a fine Om Puri, it is a sentimental but moving story of compassion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
