Sinekatalog’s take
Ingmar Bergman's debut as director follows a small-town girl lured to Stockholm by her birth mother. Melodramatic and earnest, with traces of his later themes, it is an uneven but intriguing first step.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
