Sinekatalog’s take
Mikio Naruse's family drama and comedy follows the ups and downs of a household of daughters and their mother. Gentle, observant and bittersweet, it is a warm ensemble piece with Naruse's quiet realism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
