Sinekatalog’s take
Shohei Imamura's drama follows a woman raped in her home who submits, then slowly finds her own strength. Masumi Harukawa is outstanding in a raw, earthy, nonlinear portrait of a woman crushed and surviving.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
