Plot
A wedding party turns into a political argument.
Sinekatalog’s take
Nagisa Oshima's furious film turns a wedding party of former student radicals into a long, theatrical political argument about the failure of the left. Stylised in long takes, it is a bold, angry and influential work, pulled from cinemas after days.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
