Sinekatalog’s take
Yasujiro Ozu's late comedy-drama follows a Kyoto brewery owner and his daughters facing a family's decline. Gentle, ironic and tender, it is a mature, quietly moving portrait of mortality and succession.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
