Sinekatalog’s take
Shohei Imamura's Palme d'Or winner follows a murderer released from prison who finds companionship in an eel. Quirky, warm and strange, with Koji Yakusho superb, it mixes black comedy with redemption.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
