Sinekatalog’s take
Nagisa Oshima's freewheeling film follows a young book thief and a sales clerk in Tokyo's counterculture, mixing fiction, theatre and documentary. Restless and provocative, it captures the radical spirit of late-1960s Japan.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
