Sinekatalog’s take
Shohei Imamura's comedy-drama follows a tireless doctor treating hepatitis in a small town in the last days of World War II. Akira Emoto is wonderful in a warm, earthy and humane film with an eccentric cast.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
