Sinekatalog’s take
Nikita Mikhalkov's lavish period romance sets an American adventuress at the Tsar's court. Grand, sentimental and gorgeously mounted, it is melodramatic and long, with Oleg Menshikov charming.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
