Sinekatalog’s take
Nejat Saydam's 1973 melodrama, a Golden Orange winner for best director, wrings tears from loss and unending sorrow in a typical Yeşilçam mould. Emotional and direct, it is representative of the popular 1970s weepies.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
